Black sand beaches, snowy footbridges, steaming mud baths and geysers… I consider myself a bona fide adventurer at this point, and I had several wonderful opportunities on this trip to prove it. (i.e. Trekking to the top of a very snowy and windy mountain to use a signpost as a shield from other tourists while I…ahem… couldn’t find a proper bathroom.) Just keeping life zesty and interesting!
