This is my 22nd time taking photos in this blue dress! My mom bought it in the 80’s… and every year, starting from birth, she stuck me in it and snapped some pictures. The early shots show me bawling my eyes out, but by around age seven I discovered that it’s much easier to smile and get it over with. And now, of course, it’s a full-blown modeling shoot in our backyard. I’ve literally grown into this dress and I hope to uphold the same tradition with my daughter!
